ISH London, United Kingdom
International Students House (ISH) London has been providing a safe and vibrant home for students in London since the 1960s. Used by thousands of students from around the world, ISH offers the opportunity to study in London with scholarships, affordable accommodation, in addition to events and educational opportunities, all designed to enrich their lives and to support them in their studies.
ISH has become a ‘home away from home’ for many students, the many facilities and our fun and friendly environment makes ISH the perfect place to spend your time in London.
ISH was opened at Great Portland Street by our first patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1965 and has gone from strength to strength with over 600 residents, compromised of students and their partners and children, from more than 109 countries and student members more than 60,000. Our current patron is HRH The Princess Royal.
Our sister businesses 229 The Venue (Live music venue), One Park Crescent (meeting spaces) and The Thirsty Scholar (coffee house and bar), provide revenue to support our charity, maintain the mission of the House and enable us to offer over 90 student scholarships.
