Goodenough College, London
Goodenough College is an independent educational charity and home to outstanding international postgraduate students and their families in London. Situated in one of central London’s most beautiful garden squares, its mission is to ‘develop future leaders…irrespective of background, where mutual understanding and respect are fostered and intellectual, cultural and social interactions are nurtured.’
Goodenough College is an academic community with a thriving extra-curricular programme. Members study at institutions all over London, many of which are within easy walking distance. The College is close to major transport links including the Eurostar and several underground stations which link directly to Heathrow Airport.
Goodenough College has just completed a comprehensive refurbishment programme. Accommodation is split between two buildings. London House is a Grade II listed building with study-bedrooms for 300 single Members, and our main communal spaces including the Great Hall, the Chapel, the Churchill Room, and several music practice rooms. William Goodenough House offers accommodation for 170 single Members and 120 couples and families, as well as having its own library, bar and facilities for children.
The Goodenough Club is adjacent to, and owned by, the College. It provides 4-star rating, first class visitor accommodation with preferential rates for alumni and IHWW members. The College also owns a study centre in Scotland, The Burn, used by university reading parties and available for rental to IHWW members.
